I have noticed something interesting recently - there seems to be some accounts that do not have any writings who "heavily" reward specific writers. They award signal to all of that individuals pieces, including giving them "every" gold they have available. So this "non-writer" is giving something like 3000+ Signal to One Writer over a week. I could be wrong, but it seems like it could be fake accounts designed to help specific individuals rise in the Leaderboard faster. If Typeshare is a Community for Digital Writers, I would recommend that Awarding Signal should be restricted to those who are actually Writing. If I correctly understand Signal Correct, it is a Tool for Digital Writers to tell other Digital Writers what is/is not working. Allowing Non-Writers to Award Signal Freely, especially gold, seems like a recipe for Fake Accounts to rise up. To deter this, you could require New Accounts to Write before they are allowed to Award Signal. If not Completely Blocking Signal until writing, you could at least Restrict Gold Giving until they Write. Perhaps even making it a requirement to publish at least 1/week before they "unlock" the ability to award Gold. I would hate for Typeshare to fall into the problem of being taken over by bots like so many other "social" platforms have fallen into. It destroys real community.
